What is the name of your state? WI

I got in trouble back in December of last year -- I was offered a chance to join a "youth diversion" program to get my charges dismissed. The program was three months. Well, a week before I joined the program I commited another crime... theft. That was my original charge to begin with. I felt considerably guilty about stealing for a second time, and returned the money the next two days.

Well.. they reviewed the tapes, and called the police. The police arrested me, and booked me. Took about thirty minutes. They said nothing was going to happen after they saw the videotape of me putting the money back into the register.

Fast forward.
I just completed this program on Monday (11/12/2007). On Tuesday morning, I get a letter saying I am being charged with the following:

Misdemeanor A. Theft in the Business Setting
Misdemeanor A. Bail Jumping

I read the papers they gave me, and it accuses me of stealing. In the report though, it did state that I returned the money.

I got slapped with these two charges.
I completed the youth diversion program, and made a lot of new friends, and a lot of valuable life experience.

My guy told me he was going to work on getting the Bail Jumping dropped, but since this was my second offense, with the first still open, they both might stick to my record.

My question is --
I completed his program. I did everything I was asked for, and even raised over $1,000 on my own time to donate towards the county. I completed therapy sessions, and the courses.

What type of jail time am I looking at? I have a lawyer, and a pretty decent one at that.

I was told they might actually both be on my record -- can I get them expunged or "whiped" from public knowledge after I'm 21? I'm 18 years old as of right now.

Thank you!

Nick.

Most likely you will not be able to get the crimes expunged at the age of 18. it will take at least three years PAST the time you have finished your punishment for the second offense AND been out of trouble.
