home alarm system contract

Dear adviser,

I have signed a three-year contract with a home alarm company half year ago. Everytime when I turn on the system, I waked up my baby because I am not used to it. I want to terminate the contract but they say cannot because of the contract.

There are two questions here:
1. Can I break the contract?
2. They charge $30 a month. Is that too high?
