What is the name of your state? I live in New York State. I purchased a home about 1 1/2 years ago. A few items needed to be fixed before I took the home. The slate flooring was cracked through the middle of my kitchen. The person that sold me the house did fix it and 2 months after, it looked the same. Because i moved in in July, I had not started the furnace. When I thought that I should, It did not work. Apparently the basement had flooded at some point and the furnace moter had been under water. As time goes on, I find things that were not done properly and should never have passed inspection. How did my house pass inspection before being sold? Is there anything that I can do? There is so much that is wrong that I feel like I was ripped off royally. HELP!!
