The developer forfeited his remaining lots & home in my
subdivision to the US Marshalls in 97. The homeowners
assocition restated the convenants in 98. Is there some
time of legal document where the developer/US Marshall
gives permission to the homeowners association to restate
the convenants? If no permission is given, is it null & void?

On the Articles of Incorporation, the developer continously
lists himself and two family members as board of directors
from 1988-1996. Can just three people declare the
convenants, conditions & restrictions? If it nulls the
original convenants in 1988, then is the restated convenants
in 98 null & void?

Do you know a website address to research Illinois case
laws on the web?

Thank you for your help. It is very much appreciated.
