What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? CA
I have a property manager who just called me to say that my
tenant in my rental home invited over a guest, who brought their dog over as well.
The"Guest's" dog then bit my tenants daughter and apparently has needed several surgerys, and so they wanted my homeowners info.
Now my homeowners insurance just called me to say they are not renewing my policy on my rental . In the rental agreement it stated no dog s allowed.
CAN my homeowners cancel me for this?
what can I do?

Yes they can cancel you. They could cancel you for any reason. The contract you have with your renter has nothing to do with your contract with your Home Owner Insurer.

You have the right to go after your renter to recoup your loss since he was in violation of your lease.
