What is the name of your state? florida
hello,
we had a plumbing flood at our home, we had servpro come as emergency cleanup.
we just got 3 checks - one for the full amount to serpro -$4000
one for personal property $250
& 1 for replacement of carpet, baseboards, etc. - $2000
the serpro check is made out to us & servpro, we just endorse & sent to servpro.
the personal property - made out to just us.
the check for carpet replacement, etc., is made out to us, our mortgage company & our credit union (we have a home equity line of credit thru the credit union.
i called the mtg company, they faxed me a form - affidavit of intention to complete repairs - said to sign that & send the quite from the ins adjuster & the check - they will endorse it & return to us.
but
there is also a form they faxed me that says -
losses under $5000 - as long as your payments are in good standing (they are) they return the check to you.
if the claim is over$5000 - they put the check into your escrow account.our entire claim is over $5000 but the actual amount we recieved is only $2000.
should i include a copy of the check to servpro with my forms?
will they sign the check & return it to us?
thank you, i'm so confused.
