What is the name of your state? Wisconsin
When you apply to a new job if you tell the truth about the ending of your employment and explain your version of it....is there really any chance of getting hired anyway? I have this problem because I was fired out of spite. I don't like being dishonest to potential employers, but who are they really going to believe? Especially because of the nature of the company I worked for, people would find it hard to imagine all of the things that go on in that place. This has really taken a toll on me....I am now suffering from severe depression due to the false accusations made against me and I don't even know how to approach a potential employer anymore.

--Tell the truth in as few words as possible.

I have this problem because I was fired out of spite. I don't like being dishonest to potential employers, but who are they really going to believe?

--The goal is to keep looking ahead, despite what you think they'll say about you.

Especially because of the nature of the company I worked for, people would find it hard to imagine all of the things that go on in that place.

--Don't be too surprised.

This has really taken a toll on me....I am now suffering from severe depression due to the false accusations made against me and I don't even know how to approach a potential employer anymore.

--You don't have the time to be despondent or wallow in self pity. You need a job! Believe that you deserve to have a good job where you are valued for your abilities.

Consider temp work just to get the hang of things again. As one famous song writer sings: Because determination can win...

If you want the next job this is NOT your answer.

INTERVIEWER: And why did you leave your last place of employment?

YOU: A personality conflict. But to be fair to my previous employer that's all I feel comfortable saying.

You have answered honestly, with class and put the onus on your past employer. Guess who will come out looking more professional?

Ah, the old personality conflict. My personal favorite, and so often true. I really like the second part.
