When I gave birth two months ago I encountered the following mistakes and errors. Are the two neglectful enough to go to court?
1. The anesthetiologist (sp?) gave me too strong a dose of medicine that my lungs froze in c-section surgery. I had a near death experience. I struggled for air it seems forever before they had to put me out and deliver the baby. I didn't get to see my baby until 3 hours later after coming to.

2. The hospital told me my baby had kidney disease and began testing her to see how severe. Later they apologized to me and said they mixed my baby's file with another baby's file and that my child was healthy.

I have gone to counseling over these devestating events and initially had trouble bonding to my child afterwards (2 months). Can I sue for either of these things?

I would not take the case. But, there are lots of lawyers, so I suggest that you call some in your area and get their thoughts. There may be more to you claim than posted.
