What is the name of your state?Florida I have heard of cases where people ripped other people off and got caught. They paid some fines, maybe some jail time, but their houses wern't leined or taken from them.
I have a house in Florida, and it is homesteaded. I will be facing a case with the U.S. Justice Department. Should I lose this case, can the DOJ put us out in the street? Can they lein our house? Or, does florida statutes protect us? (Note: I did nothing illegal) This is a result of overpayments made to my corporation by Medicare.
Thx

Are you representing yourself in this case? Surely not. Don't you have a lawyer? Why on earth would you ask this question of a stranger on the internet when you could ask a licensed professional knowledgable of the law?
