My previous employer made an RRSP investment on my behalf in the year 1987. I have all the documents of this investment to validate my claims. The RRSP is a locked investement which can not be withdrawn until my retirement year which is this year.

My previous employer have all the original records of this investment.
Household trust claims they do not have a record of it.
I contacted Canada Revenue Agency, and I was told that they do not keep a record of this either.

Am I dealing with a fraudulent activity? That after the money sat for some 20 some years in trust with the household trust , they won't give up my investment ?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
