What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? I am trying to apply for rent assistant, I was asked if had a checking account and said no, that I have only a savings account. I do have a checking account but it has a negative of $500 and was scared that they would look at that. what should I do, should I just let the county know that I also have a checking account? but I'm scared that they might suspend me for lying.
