What is the name of your state? WASHINGTON, 13 YEARS AGO I PURCHASED MY HOME BUT HAD MY GIRLFRIEND HANDLE THE PAPERWORK SINCE I WAS 2 STATES AWAY. ALTHOUGH IT WAS ALL MY MONEY I ALLOWED HER TO GO ON TITLE WITH ME WHICH AT THE TIME SEEMED TO HAVE ITS OWN BENIFITS. WE HAD A CONTRACT SALE WITH 3 YEARS OF $350 PAYMENTS WHICH SHE MAY HAVE MADE 3 OF THEM. A COUPLE YEARS LATER WE HAD OUR DIFFERENCES AND I MOVED HER BACK TO CALIF. SINCE THEN FULL PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE AND I HAVE THE DEED.I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM HER OR HAVE'NT BEEN ABLE TO LOCATE HER FOR SEVERAL YEARS NOW. MY HEALTH ISN'T WHAT IT USED TO BE AND I AM CONCERNED OF WHAT HAPPENS IF I DIE. I WANT TO GIVE THE HOME TO MY NEW GIRLFRIEND UNTILL SHE DIES AND THEN TO MY DAUGHTER. IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN ADD MY DAUGHTERS NAME TO THE DEED WITHOUT THE FIRST GIRLS SIGNATURE? OR IS THERE ANY ANSWER TO THIS AT ALL? I DON'T THINK I COULD EVEN FINANCE THE PROPERTY OR SELL A PORTION IF NEED BE WITHOUT HER. CAN ANYONE POSSIBLY GIVE THIS OLD FOOL SOME SOUND ADVICE? I WOULD BE IN YOUR DEBT FOREVER!
