How can I get a support order dissolved?

What is the name of your state? New York State

Me and my wife have made amends and I have been giveing her money directly outside of the child support system. We are trying to get our 10 year suport order disolved because I have always paid her directly and it appears like I am behind and a deadbeat. We would like to get the oreder dissolved so I can free my credit report and continue on wth our lives. What can be done? Where can we go? I know we need to go to the court but what is the process of clearing this whole matter up?

The obligee can forgive the arrearages by filing a motion to forgive arrearages. As for getting out of paying child support -- don't hold your breath. Some states require all payments to go through child support. Why have you continued paying her directly when you had an order stating that you had to go through CSEA?
