I've lived here for two years paying utilities. I live out of city limits on private property. There's a metal overhang roof we built into it and an attached garage. Completely manicured and landscaped. Is there a way around zoning law that prohibits staying over night in camper?

Sounds like you have been doing so for 2 years.

It might be worth a visit to a local lawyer that handles zoning issues. Other than a variance, which I doubt you would get, you would likely need to figure out what makes a mobile home legal (assuming they are) and do that to your RV.
