i have a support order against me for 8 years now.
i am not even shure i am the father of the child.the order is based on a default judgment.anyway,in nov. 97 i established a court order for visitation stating the mother must move back to ca. apply me with sons medical records and start visatation.she had to move back to ca. do to the fact she moved out of ca. without my concent.well to this day she has failed to do any of these things.but now the county is asking me to pay my arerages or face crimanal procedings.how can i go about setting aside my support order or what is my best game plan.

Sorry, there is no "game plan" at this point in time, nor will there ever be.

You had your opportunity, but you allowed the issue to go to "default" and now you're stuck until the child is an adult.

Your arrearage problem and your child's residency issue are two, distinct, matters. While you need to make your payments to stay out of jail, you also need to have the court enforce your residency order for the child if you have an interest in seeing your child.

But, the matter of Child Support is a moot issue for you to fight against.
