I have read on this forum that if a debt has gone past the SOL and it is acknowleged than the clock starts all over again on the SOL. I have 2 credit cards totaling $8,000 that have both gone past the SOL by 2 years (both were from 1993). I just realized this. I haven't gotten correspondance about them or aknowleged them at all. My question is, how can I get them removed from my credit report without aknowleging that they existed and starting the clock all over again?
