What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? WA

My ex is at it again. When we got divorced, he was watching everything I did. He would quote conversations I'd had on my cell phone, hack my email accounts, read my text messages, etc. I know it sounds paranoid but it's not. He's a high-end computer guy, and he's shown me programs that you don't want to know exist. He's really fond of something called "air-snorting," where you can pretty much use a program to pull digital information out of the air, including cell phone conversations.

Anyway, after we got divorced, he remarried. I thought that would take care of the situation, but it hasn't. Recently he's started monitoring my bank accounts, my online rent payments, etc. He won't come out and say it, because our only contact is through email(I make sure that everything he says to me is in writing, otherwise I get threats, etc that I can't prove). I know he's doing it though, because he drops hints. He told me last week that he somehow got signed up for "reminder" emails on my rent account when he made a payment for me a few years ago. I gave him the password about two years ago when he took off to China without paying his child support. I know that may sound utterly stupid, but it was either that or be evicted, and I didn't realize that it showed all of my historical payments, etc. as at the time it didn't, and I don't use that account(I pay in person). I never, however gave him permission to look in on the account whenever he wanted, and most certainly never gave him my email/bank account/etc passwords. I looked in on the account, and his email address is listed nowhere. I changed all my passwords, but I know for a fact that it won't stop him.

He once had a friend hack my hotmail account. he read me the first email I ever wrote on the Hotmail account... back in 1998.

Is there any way to prove this kind of behavior? What laws is he breaking, and how would I even begin to pursue/prosecute/prove this??

It's creepy, it's wrong, and it's a total invasion of my privacy.

Change your passwords often .Change your banking password Often .

If you had/have friends on myspace and their myspace has you as a friend , your info. could be had through their myspace ,that he knew of before .

You should know what to do about that .

Do NOT use the same email address that you correspond with him for any financial information.

You may want to consider changing banks, or at least bank accounts.
