i live in missouri and i would like for my husband to move out of the house. the house is in my name but he won't leave. my husband called the police one night that i told him to leave and they said they could not make him leave. so how do i get him out

Unless your husband has been physically abusive, requiring a restraining order, the police cannot force him to stay out. If you try to lock him out, the police would probably urge you to allow him back in. Regardless of whose name is on a deed or even a lease, when a couple is married, the marital premises is considered a type of shelter provided by the other spouse until there is a legal separation agreement or the marriage is dissolved.Until then, you cannot "evict" your spouse.
