What is the name of your state? California

I just signed a one-year lease on a studio apartment and now I'm having regrets. The apartment is noisy, and it's been a week since I moved in and the manager hasn't taken any action on all the things that I noticed were broken when I moved in. For example, the bathtub stopper lever is completely broken, and the tub is totally clogged up so that it's unpleasant for me to even take a shower. None of the windows lock. The front burner on the stove doesn't work. I guess I'm lucky--it could be worse, but I really think I made a mistake moving into this place. Do I have any recourse?

How to get out of a lease the easy way....

Wait until about a month before the lease expires then give 30 days notice you do not wish to stay.
