How to get rid of a body attachment warrant;

Pay whatever amount of money is required to satisfy it.

The only other way would be to go before a judge and somehow convince him/her that the warrant is defective in some way (like in shouldn’t have been issued). Of course that entails showing up in court where, if you aren’t successful, they will exercise the warrant and promptly put you in jail.

Umm, paying the judgment won't just dismiss the warrant, you still probably need to contact the court. Of course, the fact that you've paid renders the whole court case moot at that point. We don't put people in jail for debts in this country, but you're in trouble for not appearing as ordered. Incarcerated elsewhere is one of the few excuses that will fly. Contact the court and see if you can negotiate an orderly appearance.

We could possibly give you better information if you'd bothered to answer the prompt the forum puts in about what state this concerns.

Also, please, sentences and punctuation are your friends. Avoid all upper case.

Of course one must notify the proper entity of the payment but bottom line, paying the debt will allow for it to be quashed.

But yes, we do effectively put people in jail for debts. Child support can end with the payor in jail. While one can argue it’s really for contempt, in effect it is due to the debt because guess what: you can buy your way out.

Yes, I knew that, but it is irrelevant to the posters situation. His judgement is over a rent issue, not child support.
I avoid writing lengthy law treatises whenb they don't apply to the situation, but I guess there's always some pedantic person who needs to flap his gums introducing non-sequitor drivel to the thread.

There are several pedantic posters on this forum who introduce non-sequitor drivel. I have not noticed that any member is immune, including you and me. ;)
