a friend of mine just came out of a 2+ year relationship. his ex-girlfriend (who is facing potential laundering charges from her education institution) placed a restraining order on him, twisting the details of some of their arguments to make him look like the 'bad guy'. He has the ability to save her from the laundering charges by taking the blame (which he was willing to do; he still loves her), but she refuses to speak to him. he's dug himself into a hole (blinded by love) and now his reputation is at stake. he's had no police record nor any contact with the law. he is a well-standing man that just recently turned down an 85/yr offer from Honda in miami to stay with her. how can he save face and keep his reputation clean? legally, what are the steps that he has to take in order to stand up for himself?
