What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? IL
Both my wife and I have jobs. My income is 2 times more than my wife's. Both of us want to have custody to our kids. We may reach a joint legal and physical custody agreement with roughly about 50-50 arrangement. Of course, my wife wants to let her manage all child support money in her account. But, I want to slit 50% of my portion to her when the kids are with her and I should manage other 50% in my account when the kids are with me. Or, put all my responsible child support money to a joint account. My questions are 1) I want to know if she also needs to pay child support since she also has income. 2). I want to know if I can manage my responsible child support portion if we can reach a joint legal and physical custody agreement. 3). The court must determine which one is non-custodial and which one is custodial parent before deciding which party should take the child support money? Can we be both 50% non-custodial and custodial parent? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
