What is the name of your state? TX I bought a new(program car) 2001 Chevy Venture Van from a Dealership. I have had nothing but trouble with it since I bought it. I had taken it in 4 or 5 times for the same thing it dying while going down the hwy or stopped at a light, they could never duplicate the prob. Finally they fixed that. At the same time there were various problems like the courtesy lights wouldnt some on and the electric door locks would quit working and the air conditioner would quit. Sometimes the service engine light would come on, sometimes not.
This time only the electric door locks quit, then started working again and the service engine light. I have noticed electical tape under the hood. There is either some kind of short or something with the computer I am sure. Which is gonna be pricy. How does the Lemon Law work? I have an extended warrenty. I just got into that, I have 40,000 miles. I have had this van in the shop prob 20 times for various reasons, some of the same.
Everytime I have had it in there I have mentioned the electric sliding door, it gets stuck sporatically. I saw on TV where their has been a recall on the vehicle, but they have no knowledge of it. Im soooooo sick of dealing with this.
