What is the name of your state? VA

Anyone have any idea how long it takes an out of state DUI in CA to notify VA. My CA driving privileges have been suspended for a few weeks now, but haven't heard anything from VA yet. DMV hearing in CA was about a month and a half ago.

Dude,
If you have no license to drive in CA then you have no license to drive in VA. Or anywhere else in the country. Its a little thing called full faith and credit.
Okay so that doesn't hold for DOMA but this is not that. You can't drive legally anywhere. Okay?

CA does not have jurisdiction to suspend my VA license. They can only suspend my CA driving privileges. I have read this on countless websites and heard the same from my lawyer. Stop spreading misinformation.

My response:

Did you recently become stupid, or are you naturally stupid? I think it's the latter because you're from the Dufus State of Virginia.

Did anyone mention to you that "CA does not have jurisdiction to suspend my VA license"? No. No one said anything about "jurisdiction." California sends a little note to Virginia, via computer, and because of "full faith and credit" between the States, Virginia will ALSO suspend your driver's license and privileges. And, because of computers, it wouldn't matter which State you attempt to apply for a license. Each State will deny your application.

Frikkin Dufus drunk!

VA will suspend. I don't disagree with that. They have not yet.

My response:

Have you called the Virginia DMV yet? Probably not.

Do you know how many writers we get to these forums who say they were stopped by an officer, and tell us that the cop said that their license is suspended? Yes, that's right. Apparently, either these people don't read their mail, or the DMV doesn't send out notices.

So, call the DMV and ask about your license, dummy.
