My husband and I have been married for 3 years and have 3 small children 1 of which came before marriage,He left me last week and said he wanted a divorce. I really do not want one but do not see any point in dispute. My question is that I heard that here in Florida we have to be sperated for a year before we can divorce, is this true?

My response:

False. The only requirement is that you meet the 6 month residency requirement. If you have, then go for it.
