When we get called in to do forensic cases sometimes we are working 23 hours without breaks (one crime after another happens). Are there rules for per diem persons and getting a lunch break? The boss is not very sympathetic about this, it's like the boss doesn't want to deal with this problem (which it is!). A normal case is about 5-7 hours (that's actual work time, not including driving time to and from the office).
