What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Maryland

My uncle died in Maryland in December of 2005. He left me 5% of his estate in his will. In January of 2007, I received a check for approx half of the 5%, along with a letter stating that I would probably get the other half of the 5% in about six months. Shortly after that, I received an update from the lawyer that said that all of the heirs had received approx half of what was coming to them. I still haven't gotten any more money. Instead, I keep getting updates from the lawyer saying that none of the heirs have received anything since January of 2007, and that they are keeping the estate open because it includes a condo, and the condo hasn't been sold yet. Is there a deadline for the lawyer or executor to sell the condo?
