I live in Pittsburgh, Pa. I signed a 1 year lease with my boyfriend of 5 years. The 1 year of the lease is over, and the lease has become a month to month. My boyfriend decided to move out. He has given the landlord no notice, and me only 1 days notice. He disputes owing any money to utilities, since they are in my name. He is also refusing to pay any rent for the next month. The rent is due in 6 days. What can I reasonably expect him to pay?

Well you can expect him to pay half of this months rent and utilities, but YOU will have to pay the landlord FIRST.

Then sue the boyfiend in small claims court,

You could give the LL a 30 day notice to move as well, and use the half of the csecurity for the rent if the landlord agrees.

Give proper notice if you want to leave....

If you want to stay at the property, talk to the landlord, if you don't want to stay, give your 30 days notice in writing and ask if your deposit can be used for your July rent. Landlord will then go after your boyfriend for NOT giving 30 day and he will not get any of the "paid" deposit back. HeHeHe.
