I live in Georgia and I was convicted of drugs almost 7 years ago. I lost a prestigous job due to my conviction. I was told that if you do not put the county that convicted you anywhere on the application or on the paper work (during the hiring process), the chances of them finding out about your conviction is very slim.

Is this true?
