In Washington State I have a decree that has been issued for my Legal Separation and my "Ex" is going to fight a for a few more things. I do not want to continue to use the previous attorney and I want anything filed to come to me. I know how to "dismiss" my lawyer via letter but how do I let the courts know I am representing myself for the time being? Basically how do I take him off the case record and put me onto it?

your attorney files a withdraw and you file an appearance. You may be able to file a prose appearance w/o discharging your lawyer too....see clerk for appearance form.
