What is the name of your state? Ohio,

Dear Sir;
I would like to ask , my father died and he has funds in the bank, since its sole owner account, one of the requirements is a Copy of filed Letters of Appointment (showing executor or administrator) but we can't afford to have an attorney. What shall we do? We need the money that my father saved there for some expenses but we can't get it for this reason.
Please I really need your help and advice. Thank you so much! God bless and more power!

The bank (or another asset holder) is required to 'follow the rules'. This is to keep someone from just walking into the bank, claiming a death and stealing the assets.

At this point, any assets held by the deceased are now the property of his/her estate. You (or someone else) will have to get the legal right to pay any debts owed at the time of death and if there is anything remaining, to disburse those assets.

You are going to have to do some research on the probate process in Ohio. Start with:
