What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? North Carolina
After our separation in 2006, my ex-wife and I decided on a child support amount in our agreement. Since then she has remarried and worked as a teacher for the school our son attends.
Recently, she has quit her job as a teacher and started a new business. The business is in her husband’s name and she says she doesn't have an income from it. She wants the child support amount to be increased due to her not having income. Will I be required to pay support based on her having no income?
Also, due to current economic conditions my employer has decreased my pay by 20%. Will that be factored in as well?
