What is the name of your state? Florida

I am writing for a sibling who is handling a post divorce case ProSe for lack of funds.

She has and knows how to file motions, but isnt getting hearing dates from the court. Can somone provide basic info on how to file with the court for a hearing. Any info is appreciated

Here's a silly question or two.

Has she asked the court to schedule a date on her motion? Or why they aren't scheduling her motions for hearings?

Is she preparing her motion correctly in order to garner her a date on her motion?

Sounds like one of the answers to those questions is "no" which is why she is not.

In my jurisdiction, certain motions need to be scheduled by the courtroom. If she isn't doing it correctly via the local rules, then she obviously doesn't know how to prepare a motion and doesn't know what she's doing.

She has filed the motions correctly , that we know someone has looked them over. She is ready to file notice of hearings, when a date is agreed to, by both parties.

This is the 17th Circuit in Broward County. Do you know if the court will generate the hearing date in that area?

thanks
