How to get child support filed from PA to NY

I had my child support go through domestic relations 4 years ago here in PA. Then after a year we took it out of domestic relations and my ex paid the child support directly to me. He lives in NY. NOW he wants it back in the court system (to protect his rights so he says) so I want to file for child support in NY where he lives and works. I know I have the right to do this, but what are the proceedures???? Can I ask domestic relations to send the files over to NY? Also does anyone know if I would receive more $ in NY?

The child support order is filed where the children reside, no matter where the father is.
