my problem is this. i married a known alcoholic that has become, and always, verbally abusive. we have been married less than a year. when we got married, we bought a home that he put the down payment on from the sale of his existing home. about 20,000 or so. i filed for bankruptcy almost two years out now, but have no means for that kind of cash. my question is, is there a way to buy him out of the house that he professes to hate so i can keep my son in his school? my husband is not the biological father. or should i just suck it up?

My response:

There is no way on Earth you're going to get financing. So, as you say, "suck it up".
