What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Sacramento, CA

I work with a girl (hispanic- born and raised in U.S.) whose boyfriend was stopped Sunday night> His passenger was drunk however, he was not. BUT he is an illegal, no drivers license. They (police) gave him a breath test and he registered on or right over the "legal" limit so they tossed them both into jail. He does have or had a landscaping job here. Anyway, they impounded his truck, and from what I am told, got him for DUI, no license and being here illegally. Yesterday he was transferred to Immigration Services? to be deported.

What my co-worker is asking is, is there any way for him to clear up the existing charges/fines and to apply for reentry legally? His employer said he will rehire him.

Thank you for your time and assistance/suggestions.

Also, she said Immigration gave him an app to fill out for a visa

Yep. Pay them.

and to apply for reentry legally?
Yep. He has to go home and wait in the long line of LEGAL applicants. Of course, he will have to wait LOTS of years... :D

His employer said he will rehire him.
Maybe not. If the law were to work like it should, his employer should be in the next jail cell.

Also, she said Immigration gave him an app to fill out for a visa
Now why does he need a credit card??

In the eyes of the law, he was DRUNK.

DUI, driving illegally, EWI and working illegally too. He is a real winner. Your friend needs to choose better boyfriends; this one is nothing but trouble.
