Hubby and I are going through an amicable divorce. We have already separated all assets except a vacation home, which we still want to own jointly after the divorce. Is there any way to protect the home during the divorce from any future claims, say if either one of us to remarry? We don't want to create an awkward situation where a future spouse could have any rights to the property.

A prenup could protect it from any future claims. You need to make sure that the property division outlines who is responsible for costs, upkeep, utilities, maintenance and how often each of you will be able to use the home. You will also need to consider whether renting out the property is allowable and how any rents would be divided as well as other issues.
