What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
Ca. I am dependent on revenues from the sale of community property. My X has arbitrarily halted sales thus my income and subsequently I am behind on rent and facing an upcoming lien sale. Can I petition the family law court/judge
to restrain the storage facility from auctioning off my property?
Is there a viable action this way? Is there any way. She has not followed the order to sell and I stand to lose a considerable amount of very valuable property. What advise have you?

Why would the storage yard be subject to a family court?

It seems like your complaint is against your ex. Tell the judge about him and see if the judge agrees.

The family court has no jurisdiction when it comes to paying your storage bill. If you want to save the property from the lien sale, you'll have to pay the bill.

If it can be determined that the ex's actions were directly responsible for your lack of funds, which in turn caused you to lose the items in storage, you could probably sue ex for the value of the property. No guarantees, though. Ex didn't promise to make the rent payments, you did. At some point, you have to find your own source of income separate from that person and be financially responsible for your own affairs.
