I’ll start from here. Me and my husband owns a piece of property and we wanted a trailer house to live in. We did still owe $11,000 on the property. This guy we knew said that he will give us the trailer if we give him the land however the loan that was still owed on the property they sign it over to him so now I’m responsible for paying him the loan back. There is nothing in writing saying we handed over the land it’s just a he said she said deal. Everything is still in my name and my husbands. He was paying the taxes on the property up until 2017. 2018 and 2019 taxes are still owed. Which he is probably waiting for the state to take the land for him to come in and pay the back taxes and get the land. When he was paying the previous taxes he was paying online so it showing that me and my husband has been making the payment and they have been sending me the recipes on that. Once my husband went into the nursing home this guy told that I need to get out of his house within 2 weeks and did not provide me with a eviction notice. Which his house is on my property. I just left thinking that it’s his property. Now I am finding out really everything. If I pay the taxes on what’s owed to the state don’t take it for not paying and I show proof that I was paying him can I get my property back by having him releasing the lien on the deed of trust as a loan I was supposed to pay back if I take it to court to have him release the lien.
