This is the first time something such as this realy ever happened to me, so i am lost, this is my story, i was at work for just a few hours today- saterday 10-14-06, i was being trained on some paperwork, so after my training someone was sent over to my machine in building 2 (#66) to help me catch up, well my helper took over the machine, and he had me stacking the parts in their proper place, i was st5acking a part, and when i turned aroung i was hit in left side of my head with a big shard hot, pieace of scrap metal called a runner, my helper was trying to throw pieace in scrap been but he missed the mark and hit me in the head, it hurt real bad, about nocked me out, though i didnt lose concience, my head still hurts real bad, my face and head are somewhat swollen, my tooth hurts and is messed and is messed up, my jaw looks out of place -unlevel, though not a whole lot of brusing it is swelled, messed up and it all hurts, I was scarred that i was dead, i actualy pead a lilte on my self though no one knew i pead but me, the guy who done it just kept on trying to hand me parts after words, i was scarred i kept backing a way! My head got cut open, blood was everywhere, cut not real bad, but was taking to hospital to get sticthes, than i was clocked out and sent home, i realy needed those hours i lost though, i was sent home about 7 pm but was sopposed to work till 11:30 pm, doctor told me to come back tomoorow, 10-15-06, though i probally will go in cause i got to pay the bills, i realy am to sore and to scared to go back to work! they said my doctor bill for stiches will be paid under workmans compt, but they dont know about my tooth or anything else yet, i was wondering what are my options, what can i do, should i get a lawyer, can i , should i get a settlement for my pain and suffering? what can i do, also, may have messed up previous engery, right hand that i have had surgery on befor, it hurts a lot now, hand and wrist, i did fall on it when i was hit in the head!
