What is the name of your state? Pa
Hi guys, thanks for all of your help concerning the landlord
he is another situation,, husband is being activated to go over to the middle east the rest is classified information, we have an appeal set for september 3,2003 regarding the situation with the landlord. I understand with the sailors and soliders act that no decisions can be made with out the person in this case husband not being here.. I have told husband that I dont trust landlord and her agents, if she shows up while hubby is gone can i have her arrested for distressing the family, this is a federal law.oh ps she has raised the price of the house again from $87,000 to 92,000 usually if you cant sell a house why raise the price??
anyway
thanks for all your help

My response:

Classified?

Then, someone better inform CNN!

Gee, let me guess . . .

Could it be we're about ready to go after Sadam Hussein?

Ooooops! That was supposed to be a "classified secret."

No, that can't possibly be it.

Just pretend that you never read this. I wouldn't want our wonderful government pissed off by someone telling "secrets."

My response:

Well, that's a nice sentiment. However, the reality of war is quite different. Both sides are going to suffer casualties, and that means people aren't coming home - - at least, not in the same condition, or the same means, as when they left.

Sad fact of war.

Death is a sad fact of war and I would gladly go in their place. I have spent my entire married life with a disabled Viet Nam vet. I hope this country has learned its lesson and will support our soldiers and pray for their safe return.

Soldiers Sailors Civil Relief Act is for tenants who are placed on active duty. If no activation orders can be provided to landlord, and rent is over $1,200, you may be SOL.

However, you appear to be purchasing a home rather than renting and in that case, only the interest rate on any mortgage held by commerical lender OR seller is effected - NOT your right to any money back, etc.

You need to see the base attorney and you might want to stop the inference of "secret" stuff /dramatics - if he can't tell, he can't tell you.

As previously posted, CNN is showing ships leaving Norfolk and San Diego and probably has a "station" at Diego Garcia.....
