What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? SC

I am looking for legal counsel for divorce from my spouse. We were married in `07, have been separated for almost a year. I do not expect many complications on the path to divorce here. No kids, few possessions. As part of my "lawyer shopping," I have been been reading up on hybrid representation but could use more info esp. relating to divorce/family law. For example, how does one weigh whether or not to use hybrid representation format vs. standard representation?

Any advantages/disadvantages, and any other info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

How much work do you want to do? How sure are you things will be negotiated easily?

If both parties have partial representation, there is not really a huge disadvantage beyond the increased amount of time needed for study before decisions and filings. If the other party is represented, I can't see how it is reasonable to not get full representation on your own.
