What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

 I am a US Citizen who just got married last March 2008 to my non-immigrant wife, she was a tourist who overstayed. Where in the process of submitting the I 485 (Permanent Resident Adjustment) and I-130(Petition for Alien Relative).
My question is ,what other possible types of relevant documentation that may serve as an evidence that our marriage is bona fide aside from: documentation showing joint ownership or property. a lease showing joint tenancy of a common residence, documentation showing co-mingling of fianancial resources, or affidavits sworn to or affirmed by third paries having personal knowlwdge of our marriage. She is not yet able to acquire SS number yet, what other documentation can we show to USCIS to establish that there is an ongoing marital status. Thank you in Advance.

None of that additional evidence you are talking about, that would show that the marriage is bona fide, needs to be submitted with the filing. That needs to be brought to the interview with the USCIS which will be scheduled in probably no less than 3-7 months and that should be sufficient time for you to gather all the supporting documentation.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions or how I can be of further assistance to you in this matter.

Affidavit of Support

Thank you again for the advice, you've helped us a lot. I still have a question regarding the sponsorship of my beneficiary. My gross income for 2007 was $22,000. I just moved to Sacramento from San Francisco and i had to quit my other fulltime job. Right now, my year-to-date gross income from my part time job is $7,000... I have had this job since 1999. I was hired last May 2008 as a loan officer which is a time flexible-commission only job. I'm currently seeking another full-time employment that i can use to prove that i can support my wife.

My questions are:
(1) once hired, if I could get 3 verification of employments from my employers, is it enough to satisfy the requirement for Affidavit of Support(form-I864) even if my YTD from my part-time job is $7,000?

(2) if I were to use my parents to help me support my beneficiary, does it need to be that; I (the original sponsor) and parents (household member sponsor) live in the same principal residence? I use to live with them in San Francisco but now I don't because I live with my wife in Sacramento.

Please Advice! Thank you again, we are due to submit the documents this month.
