What is the name of your state? New Jersey

quest. 14a. If you are a lawful permanent resident, complete the following,
Date and place of admission for or adjustment to lawful permnant residence and class of admission? already adjusted to permant resident**************... so what woul be the class of admission ? would it be the same as whats in the visa.

You would need to state where the person adjusted status to permanent resident, if it was done within the US and what the class of admission was should have been listed/noted on the approval notice for the same. If it was done abroad and it was through consular processing, the immigrant visa would have that information, as would the temporary stamp placed in one's passport at the time of entry.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions or how I can be of further assistance to you in this matter.

14a on the I-130

I noticed that you were assisting some folks a few years ago about the I-130 question 14. My step-mother is filling for her brother who is in China. She has been in the states for over 5 years and recently gained citizenship - how would she respond to this questions? Would the place be where she initially flew in? Or where her destination was? And what would the class be? THank you in advance for your help!

She can only petition for her brother if she is already a US citizen. Since you say that she has just gotten her US citizenship, she need NOT answer question no. 14a as that pertains to permanent residents only.

about I-130 form

My question is about I-130 form, #14: "place of admission for or adjustment to lawful permanent residence" This is about the place where I reside or the address of USCIS office from where I got a green card?

I need help with the form I 30

Quest. 14a. If you are a lawful permanent resident, complete the following,
Date and place of admission for or adjustment to lawful permnant residence and class of admission?

I got my legal right to come in USA from a Diversity Visa Program Lottery. When came in USA my first stop was in Chicago, IL (where I got registered and fingerprints) and after that I continued my trip to Detroit, Michigan where I now live.

Should I answer Chicago or Detroit to question above???

Me second question is :
question: C17. Information about your alien relative (in my case is my wife)
List husband/wife and all children of your relative.
In this question should I include my self as my wife's husband or it is not necessary??
Please help me in this issue.
thank in advance

NO. 14 you should list the US Embassy/Consulate where you were issued the immigrant visa on the basis of winning the DV lottery.

NO. 17 you should list yourself again as the spouse of your wife if you are petitioning for your wife.

Question about I-30 form

First of all thank you for answering my question above.
I do have a last question which I don't know how to answer.

My wife came in Michigan 16 months ago as a student and now she is studding for a master degree in Michigan.

a. Section C, question 14. Date authorized stay expired, or will expire, as shown on Form I-94 or I-95 ??

On her I-94 attached in her passport doesn't say expiration day anywhere and I don't know what date to put in there unless I put the expiration date of her US visa in her passport??

b. Arrival/departure Record (I-94) and Date arrived

after she came here for the first time she went back in her country (United Kingdom) and when she got back in the USA they attached a new I-94 on her passport with a new date of arriving. I am not sure if the "Arrival Record number" was the same. Now my question is which date of arriving should I put on the question above and if the "Arrival Record number" is the same on the new I-94???

Thank you in advance.

Use the last I-94 arrival date. For the expiration date, if she is in valid F-1 status as an international student, there is no expiration date but a "D/S" in place of it, which means duration of status. That's what you should put down where it asks for expiration dates--D/S.
