What is the name of your state? Michgian and Iowa. My husband is a U.S. born American citizen who lives in Iowa and I am a Canadian born Canadian citizen living in Canada however I have a TN visa which allows me to work in Michigan (and I believe live there as well). We applied for a I-130 and I was just checking the status online and it said it takes typically from 990-995 days to process???? That's almost 3 years. Is this true? Also, if it does take this long can I decide to live in the U.S. with my TN visa and then do a change of status? If so how will this affect my I-130? Any info at all will be greatly appreciated.
