I am active duty military and I have received orders with very little notice. Can I break my lease without penalty. My landlord is saying that he will sue me and keep my $500. deposit. Please help.

Joe -- The Soldiers and Sailors Civil Relief Act should give you some protection. Ask the post Legal Officer for a letter to give the landlord.
