What is the name of your state?Missouri. I have 2 questions first to post, more will come later. First , Is it not standard police procedure to : make a written report in any situation where a man has been found dead, : second , Is it not standard police procedure to tape off a residence where a man has been found dead and the family has yet to be notified? Oh and is it not standard legal procedure for an autopsy to be done? Can a civillian records of 911 call that came from the residence? Please confirm what I think to be right and I'll post the rest of the picture!

The rest of the story!

As I wrote before I'm in Missouri. This is not my story but my friends'. In 2004, Sept. 27 , her ex-husband was found dead in his home, after someone made a 911 call , it was quite a bit of time before the sheriff's department arrived on scene. The ex-husband was found to have a wound to the side of his head, there was blood by a wood stove and in the utility room , where his washer and dryyer were. Before the authorities arrived, at least 4 people were known to have taken various items out of the house. When the authorities arrived they just took about 4 - 5 pictures were taken, meanwhile they were letting people continue to riffle through this man's belongings( people were not family), and take things out the the house. The family was not notified untill the next day at 3pm. When my friend tried to ask our local sherriff if she could get a copy of the police report and he told her there was'nt one.-end of pt. 1

Your Part 1 of the story is based upon whose story? How would you know (or your friend) that 4 people were in the house taking items befor the police arrived, etc.?

Now..I say this personally...When a poster writes in "chapter stories" it is annoying...so why don't you just tell the story (the short version) so that you can get your advice and be done with it.... :)
