Hello,
I made a big mistake, 1 and a half years ago.
I bought a Rolex Submariner from an Ebay seller. He was really kind and wealthy. I checked his ID background everywhere. After I received I and my watchmaker recognised it is a replica. He said no problem, I can send back to him, and he will refund my money. He sued me, because, he told me he did not know it is real or not after. But before I pay forced me, he has another buyer...
I sent back the watch, but after he did not contact with me. I have his facebook profile, friends list, phone number. All of his mails, the video what I took when I opened the box, every proof, I have the truth.
He is really wealthy, but He doesen't want to contact with me.
How can I expose him?What can I do?Nearly 1000dollars what I losted.
I wrote a letter to the Phoenixville's (he is living in there, and in FL) police but he has some contacts there...
His name is John Dettra. (born: 1939 May 29)

Thank you for all of your advices!

You will have to call the police again.

You could also attempt to get a local attorney to investigate.

However, after a year and a half, you really don't have a chance. You can't even show the court the watch because you sent it back.

yes, he is wealthy
his facebook profile is this.
I checked his relatives, etc also.
Being that gullible is exactly how you get ripped off on eBay.

Give me half an hour and I can create a Facebook profile, complete with fabricated relatives, that "prove" I'm Her Royal Majesty, Queen of Fakecountria.

Stop believing what strangers who are trying to sell you something claim to be and don't plan on seeing that thousand dollars again.

It is entirely possible that there is a John Dettra who is a rich guy from Florida, but a scammer has just assumed his identity.

That facebook profile is so obviously fake. His "bio" is:

i got a bridge for sale want 2 bid, starts at 9.99 lol
f*** k wit my info @ u die keep it up!!!!!!!!!
dont piss me off im running out places 4 bodys!

All 70 year old men talk like that right?

You are not hearing us.

You don't KNOW his real name or that this is the name of his company.

You know that SOMEONE has this name and owns this company... but you don't know if that person was the same that sold you this watch.

This is the internet. You can claim to be anyone you wish. Before you continue to put a person under this type of examination, you need to call the police to find out if that person is the one that sold you the watch.

Sincerely,

Bill Gates

"Nearly 1000dollars what I losted."
that should of been your first clue. You wont ever get a real Rolex Submariner for close to that.Surely you priced them.If its too good to be true ,it isn't.

Poor guy, you sure fell for it hook, line and sinker.

Next time, use paypal and a credit card so you have some protection and buy it from a reputable ebay dealer. There are a few out there.
