North Carolina - While eating an icecream sundae from McDonald's back in August of 2004, I felt something hard and cold in my mouth, and thought it to be ice. However, something told me it wasn't, and when I spit it out in my hand, it was a thumbtack. I reported this to that McDonald's as well as to their mgmt. company...and I was treated very rudely. Is it too late to proceed with a lawsuit against McDonald's or Dixon Foods, the mgmt. company?

You failed to mention any injuries.

So, no, I guess you do not have a lawsuit.

Thumbtack in Sundae

No, I was not injured, b/c I spit it out. Since then a co-worker of mine found a plastic piece off one of their drink machines in his drink. This happened at the same McDonald's. I'm just concerned that this particular McDonald's may end up causing an injury to a child...as I have children of my own.

I would report it to my local health department, rather than my lawyer.
If you care about the kiddies this is the best advice.

This thread is just tacky.

Sorry... went against my own signature... but one leg is already longer than the other from all the leg-pulling I have been getting around here... being drawn and quartered might just even me out. :p
