I guess no one could help me with the question I asked on 7-31-2001 'forgery'. If anyone could give me the statutes of limitations for virginia (fraud) & (forgery) I would appreciate it. Thank you for your time.

Issues?

I'm not sure what you mean by issues keep changing.

I can offer some second hand advice on this. I observed the a similiar situation and the outcome. If the husband had complained about the forgery right at the start, your friend could have been charged. But when he chose to make the payments, he became fully responsible for the debt. This of course assumes he paid the bills himself. It would be highly unlikely at that point that your friend would be charged with forgery. Tell your friend to tell her soon to be ex that nothing can be done to her now.
